Nigeria U15 team will open their title defense against Morocco at the ongoing African Youth Games in Algiers and head coach Dalandi Nasidi believes his wards are in good shape and ready to get down to business.
The Future Eagles look forward to defending the African title they won four years ago and will be hoping for a winning start against the north Africans in the Algerian capital.
“We are not a debutant in this tourney, and preparations were in top gear going into this competition as we had played series of competitive friendlies,” Danladi told SavidNews.
“Africa youths Games has been an avenue for future eagles to show how talented we are in our dear country, just like the way we finished with gold at the last edition in Botswana.
“On our opponents, especially Morocco, we understand they are one of the most formidable teams in Africa at all levels. But I’m assuring Nigerians we are going to face them with utmost seriousness. We are fighting for gold.”
