The Director-General of Media and Publicity to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Kingsley Fanwo, has dismissed statements credited to the Chairman of the Kogi State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, Haddi Ametuo, to the effect that the governor is not carrying the party along.

He said the Chairman is pursuing a “personal agenda” against the governor.

“Governor Bello has been providing leadership and even Mr. President, whose words are believed worldwide, has testified to the giant strides of the governor.

“Our people in Kogi are seeing the fruits of good governance. Road construction works, water provision, agricultural renaissance and job creation. Haddi and his sponsors are in Abuja and have lost touch with reality back home.”

Fanwo said Governor Bello has taken a bold step at curbing insecurity by clearing 50 metres on both sides of the major roads in the state, saying the measure has destroyed the hiding places of kidnappers.
