Top Nigerian league sides are chasing the signature of Peter Michael following his impressive show in Crown FC’s Federation Cup fairy tale despite controversial defeat in inconclusive semi-final clash with Ifeanyi Ubah.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Bayelsa United and Nigeria Professional Football League reigning champions Rangers International are understood to be in the race to capture the young talisman who was on song for the Ogbomosho side.

Michael who could play from any position in the attack line contributed goals to ensuring the coach Fatai Osho’s side earn an historic progress in the national competition and his performance has endeared him to the fans.

With six goals in 10 games in Nigeria National League, he netted the winning goal against Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna in the Round of 32 matches. He went further scoop the Man of the Match award against Enugu Rangers and Wikki, as his side gallantly saw off the giants in round of 16 and in quarter-final respectively.

Crown FC gaffer had snapped up the profilic scorer while in charge of Supreme Court in Abuja to the Ogbomoso club to boost his ranks and has been rewarded underlining Michael’s huge potential.

Aside his amazing performance in the Federation Cup, Michael also inspired Crown FC to winning the Oyo State Federation Cup for 2016, defeating NPFL side Shooting Stars 2-1 at the Lekan Salami Stadium.

With the season now over, the next destination though may be undecided yet but Michael is unlikely to return to Crown FC after his amazing reputation and look destined for a bigger challenge in the Nigerian topflight league.
