BREAKING: University Of Ibadan Proceed on Compulsory Break Till Further Notice

Information coming to Savidnews’s desk is that, the management of University of Ibadan had ordered all students to vacate all Hall of residences and academic activities should be suspended till further notice, due to treats of lives and destruction of properties.

Amist all this happening, the University Registrar, O.I. Olukoya, Summarised that “Based on the forgoing, and the need to protect the cherished lives and properties on campus, University Management has decided, after wide consultation, that all student are to proceed on break until further notice.

Stating simultaneously “Consequently, all student are to vacate their respective Halls of Residence and Classes on or before 4.00 p.m, today, Tuesday, 26, April, 2016.

“Any student found in the Libraries, Halls of Residence or classes stands the risk of outright expulsion. Thank you.

It will be recalled that, Tunji Epketi Micheal, a 500L student of the department of Petroleum Engineering, Faculty of Technology and a resident of Independence Hall, was recently rusticated from University of Ibadan for been part of those who protested over light and water issue that occurred on the 18th of November last year, 2015.

Now UI has finally joined the likes of Unilag and OAU, suspending academic activities.
