Flamingoes arrive Jordan for Fifa U17 Women’s World Cup with high expectations

Nigeria U17 women team have landed in Amman, Jordan on Tuesday morning for the Fifa U17 Women’s World Cup ahead of Saturday’s opening Group C clash with Brazil.

The Flamingoes who defeated Namibia and South Africa to secure their fifth appearance, had left the country on Monday for the competition scheduled to hold from September 30 to October 21.

The team will resume their training activities on Tuesday evening ahead of their preliminary round campaign on October 1 at the King Abdullah II International Stadium.

Bala Nikyu’s girls, who were quarter-finalists last term, will be hoping to secure a winning start against Brazil.
