Kogi needs to pay attention to social welfare

Former Director of Social Welfare, Mr Emmanuel Usman has called on the kogi state government to pay attention to the ministry of social welfare.

He said this during a retirement exercise held Ministry of Women affairs in Lokoja.

Usman during his speech said he’s begging the state government to remember the Ministry because most of the staff will soon retire.

He said the Ministry of Social Welfare is very broad and the governor needs to employ more young blood to work in the Ministry.

The Permanent Secretary also pleaded with the member of the Ministry to take the job seriously and work together as a family.

Also speaking at the programme is Samuel Oloruntoba, he thanked Emmanuel Usman and Hajara Adah for their good works in the Ministry.

He further advised them to continue to be a good leaders any where they go, and also advise his coworkers to start from where their leaders have stopped.

Oloruntoba also pleaded with the government to come to their aids and to employ more staffs because they are short of staff in their ministry.
