Nigeria’s goalkeeper Christy Ohiaeriaku joins Sweden’s IFK Ostersund

Nigeria international Christy Ohiaeriaku has teamed up with Swedish women top division club IFK Ostersund.

The former Rivers Angels and Osun Babes goalkeeper joined Ostersund after she agreed a one-year contact with option of 12 months extension.

Ohiaeriaku came into limelight after she represented Nigeria’s senior national team at the 2014 Africa Women Championship in Namibia, where the country claimed the trophy for a record seventh time.

She was part of the Super Falcons’ campaign at the 2015 Fifa Women’s World Cup in Canada and currently part of the Falconets train to the 2016 Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup in Papau New Guinea.
