Asisat Oshoala scored in Dalian Quanjian in the Chinese Women Supper League 1–0 win over Hebei on Saturday.
The reigning CAF African Women Footballer of the Year had left Arsenal ladies after her first season winning the Women’s FA Cup to join the Chinese outfit.
Oshoala started the encounter alongside the 2015 Women’s Player of the Year Enganamouit Gaëlle, who was making her second league appearance since moving to the China Women’s Super League (CWSL) in January.
The Nigeria international opened her Chinese account in the 77th minute as her lone strike saw her home side claim their second victory of the season.
The win put the reigning champions atop with six points from their opening two Chinese topflight fixtures.
Dalian will face Changchun Dazhong in their next league encounter on April 24.
