Confluence Queens assistant coach Sabo Okala has warned that his side cannot afford to get carried away after their emphatic 3-0 victory against Osun Babes at the Confluence Stadium on Wednesday.

The Kogi Ladies only needed to first half to secure their comfortable home win against the Omoluabi ladies with captain Tobiloba Olarewaju leading the onslaughter firing home a long-range effort from a free kick spot before Tina Oyathelemhi and Ifeoma Polinus scored ten minutes before the break to seal victory.

” It was a good match today [Wednesday], we truly deserved the victory because there is improvement compared to our two previous matches against Delta Queens and Nasarawa Amazons,” Okala told media.

“My message to the players is to remain focused and not be carried away by the unbeaten tag, we still have a long way to go, we need to improve on our composure and raise the bar, we need total concentration.”

The Lokoja based outfit are second on the group B table with seven points – tied on goals and points with leaders Adamawa Queens and will face Edo Queens in their next match in Benin next Wednesday.
