baba ganaru]Nigeria Premier Football League highest goal scorer from last season and Nasarawa United striker, Victor Namo says he is very delighted to be re-united with his former coach at Kano Pillars, Mohammed Baba Ganaru who was on Monday unveiled as new manager of the Lafia based outfit.

Speaking with BrilaFM, Namo stated that he is looking forward to a fruitful season under the guidance of Ganaru.

“Honestly, I am so happy that we are going to work again together; he told me he was coming and I was happy with his decision and I strongly believe that it will turn out good for the team”

Baba Ganaru parted ways with Kano Pillars after a falling out with the club’s board but Ganaru has been quick to deny any rift with the Kano based outfit stating that he left because of personal reasons.

Nasarawa finished mid table and the task of Ganaru will be to fashion out a way that will make the team a formidable force next season such that they will be able to contend for the title.
