Asisat Oshoala makes goalscoring debut in Barcelona win at Rayo Vallecano

Asisat Oshoala made a goal-scoring Spanish Superliga debut in Barcelona 4-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano on Sunday at Ciudad Deportiva Stadium.

The Nigerian’s first appearance for Llius Cortez’s side few days after her loan move from Dalian Quanjian became a reality as she came on as a substitute against Rayo Vallecano.

Alexia Putellas opened the scoring for the visitors after 15 minutes in the encounter before Lieke Martens doubled the lead a minute later.

Mariona Caldentey added the third in the 29th minute from Martens’ assist to put the Blaugranes 3-0 up against Irene Ferreras’ ladies at half time.

On return from recess, the Nigerian replaced Alexia in the 62nd minute and wasted no time to make her mark as she extended the visitors’ lead a minute later to seal victory.
