Beach Soccer: Abu Azeez tops Nigeria squad for Copa Lagos 2017

Nigeria’s beach soccer team coach, Audu Adamu has invited 12 players for the sixth edition of Copa Lagos tournament in Lagos.

Topping the list composed of veterans is Abu Azeez, who made the squad alongside captain Isiaka Olawale, Batholomew Ibenegbu, Victor Tale, Okemmiri Ogbonna and Emeka Ogbonna.

The Supersand Eagles will engage Lebanon, the Netherlands, and Spain in a round-robin format during the three-day event scheduled for December 8-10.

Adamu’s side will hold camping preparations from November 26 to December 5 in Kebbi as they will be hoping to reclaim the title the last won in 2013.
