The son of the past governor and a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mohammed Ibrahim Idris in a recent interview with newsmen in Abuja claimed that Governor Wada has failed to live up to the expectation of the people of Kogi State.

According to the Aiyetoro-Gbede born politician cum activist, it is morally wrong for Mohammed to criticize Wada’s administration.

“We all know what happened during the last governorship elections in Kogi State. The former governor Ibrahim Idris sponsored a candidate while his son, Mohammed, sponsored a different candidate. At the end, his father’s candidate won”, he said.

“Is he complaining because his candidate lost? We were aware of the succession agreement between Mohammed and his candidate to ensure Mohammed succeeds him as Governor after his tenure”
“What is the drive behind his recent interview”, Mesele querried.

“Is it because Hon. Mohammed does not get contracts from the current administration as he has become used to?”

Engr. Mesele advised Mohammed to work more on improving his poor performance at the House of Representatives and among his constituents.
