Enyimba have announced the signing of midfielder Bernand Okonronwata from Beyelsa United to fill the vacuum left behind by New Zealand Fifa U20 World Cup-bound Sokari Kingsley.
Bernard who is the younger brother of ex-international, Tarila Okorowanta, has previously played Sharks before joining the Elephants.
According to the club’s media officer Aaron Farriel, the signing of Okoronwata became necessary considering the effect of Sokari’s absence.
“Bernard Okoronwata has successfully completed a return to @EnyimbaFC as the club looks to fill its attacking midfield void,” the team’s media officer announced via his official twitter account.
“The move for Okoronwata became necessary following the absence of Sokari Kingsley away on international duties with the Flying Eagles,” Farriel said.
