FIFA President Sepp Blatter recognizes new NFF President Amaju Pinnick

FIFA President, Joseph Blatter has congratulated the newly-elected President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick following his victory at Tuesday’s September 30 elective congress which was staged in Warri, Delta State.

Blatter in his signed letter to Pinnick and made available to SavidNews, acknowledged the emergence of Pinnick as the new head of the nation’s football body.

“I would like to entend my sincere congratulations and best wishes of success on the occasion of your election as the new President of Nigeria Football Federation”.

He expressed confidence in capacity of the new president to develop the game of football in Nigeria and pledged the support of the international football body to the nation’s new executive body.

“You knowledge and experience will certainly have an important impact on the stable development of our beautiful game in your country,” Blatter

“You can rely on my personal support and FIFA’s assistant in order to reach this goal: the doors of the Home of FIFA are open whenever you wish to discuss any relevant issues concerning the game and its governance.

“I wish you good luck, strenght and every success for your new role and look forward meeting you soon,” he concluded.
