Gov Wada Describes Ex-Gov, Audu’s Allegation “baseless”

Kogi state government has described as baseless former Governor Abubakar Audu’s allegation that the state government has hands in the kidnap of his junior brother Musa Audu.

The Special Adviser on Media and Strategies to Captain Idris Wada the Kogi state Governor, Mr Jacod Edi informed journalists in his office at the Lord house Lokoja.

He said the former governor brother is of no political relevants to the state and he does not and has not pose any threat to the people and government of Kogi state.

He admonished the state former governor to stop blaming Wada’s adminidtration for his frustration which were caused by his failures at the last general election in the state.

‘He should stop placing his frustration on Wada’s adminidtration if Wada has anything against him his excellency would not have attended his son’s wedding recently’.

He said the government is busy attending to the needs of the kogi people as does not have talk for Prince Audu’s side talks and rumours aimed at tarnishing the image of the state government.

‘We have many important state issues to face let him think of how we can move the state forward rather peddling rumours about the Wada led administration in the state’.

Edi appealed to the people of the state to disregard the rumours and urged Audu to come up with constructive criticism if he wants his to be heared .

‘We do not have time for rumopur mongers but we listen to constructive criticism no rumouirs’.
