Groups Begs Kogi Govt to Complete Idah-Ejule-Ayigba Road

Three different groups have called on the state Government for the completion of the Idah- Ejule-Ayigba road rehabilitation project started by former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idis.

This appeal was made during Idahojo development Association, IDA, Lokoja branch which issue Communique after end of the year get together held at Ameh- Onojo at Lokoja on Monday.

The chairman of IDA, Mr Sunday Haruna States that any governor and Government that love igala people of Kogi State should not abandon idah road, which is described as the root in igala land that leads to the ancestral head quarter of igala people.

“Abandoning the road is a great disservice by the state Government to the entire igala people of kogi state,” he said.

Another group christened Committee of Friends Club, CFC, which comprises persons from different professions from all the State Local Government from Kogi east senatorial district also appeal to the State government in completion of Idah-Ejule-Ayigba road project.

The group called on the state Government to honour the new Ata Igala with the completion of the road which has reached about 65% completion.

Another group who call their name The Gruop of Three, GO3, another group of diverse professions in Ofu Local Government area in Kogi State has made appeals through News Agency of Nigeria and pappers for the completion of Idah-Ejule-Ayigba.

They further said the road is very important and dear to the people of igala land
