Kogi United refutes Abdul adama’s resignation, insists he is still chairman

Management of Kogi United have refuted report published by us over the resignation of it chairman Abdul Adama, insisting he is still in charge of the Nigeria National League outfit.

Earlier, SavidNews in a reliably gathered published article reported the surprise quit of Adama barely 19 months in office, but team manager of the club, Ameh Henry in a telephone chat, denied the rumour about it chairman, citing it as untrue and baseless.

“There is no official report of such and quite disappointed over such report emanating from (SavidNews). The management have no idea of such development,” Henry told SavidNews.

“As it stands – Mr Abdul Adama is still our chairman. If there will be anything of such – it will be communicated officially,” he concluded.
