#KogiGovRace: Deputy Governor appeals more support for Capt Wada

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi, has solicited the continuous support of the people of Lokoja, to the administration of Capt Idris Wada.

Yomi Awoniyi, made the call when the PDP in ‘ward E’ of Lokoja LGA, paid him a visit.

Awoniyi disclosed that the present administration is investing heavily in Lokoja in the areas of infrastructure, solicited their patience as very soon, government would begin massive commissioning of its on-going projects.

Awoniyi described the investment in Lokoja Greater Water Works, completion of the Confluence Beach Hotel, Stadium and secretariat in Lokoja as some completed inherited project of the present administration.

Awoniyi disclosed that very soon, the 500 housing units in Ganaja and Crusher would be completed, described the 16km Ganaja – Otokiti bye pass as other landmark achievements of the Wada administration.

Awoniyi urged the people to be patient as work on the road from welcome to Lokoja to the new market would experience speed and completion.

Awoniyi described the on – going embankment at Kabawa area; the Trailer Park in Felele and several other projects the administration is embarking upon as the importance the administration attaches to Lokoja and the people, solicited their continuous support for the administration to enable it deliver its campaign promises.

Awoniyi, described the PDP as the party that has the interest of the people at heart, urged them to remain resolute with the party in their support ahead the forthcoming governorship election slated for November.

Earlier in his remarks, Hon Sam Abenemi, State Deputy Chairman PDP and leader of the delegation, said their visit was to appreciate the efforts of government in developing Lokoja town and seek ways of addressing challenges affecting the party.

Abenemi described the PDP as one united family in Lokoja, said it has resolved to support the aspiration of Capt Idris Wada in transforming the State to an enable heights.
