Governorship aspirant under the All Progressive Congress, Alhaji Suleiman Baba Ali has said he was not chosen because he is the most qualified person, but he was lucky choice of the Coalition of leaders from the Kogi state Western and Central Senatorial Districts.

The Coaliation Group had endorsed Alhaji Suleiman Baba Ali as it consensus candidate for the August 29 Primary Election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on last weekend and explained that he was chosen because, the committee, sees him as the candidate that cut-across the three senatorial district of the state.

Commenting on how to carry along other aspirants who were chosen, Ali quickly reacted that, I am not qualify to carry them along, but rather carry him along to ensure that power rotation become a reality.

While thanking the committee for finding him worthy as soul candidate, Ali promised not to betray the confidence reposed in him by the people of West and Central.

“I see this development as moral victory and victory to all other aspirants in these two zones. I salute their maturity and doggedness to ensure our success in the coming primary election,” he added.
