Nigeria resumes camp for Sudan on October 5

The Super Eagles will resume camp on October 5 for their double-header of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games against Sudan, according to the team’s interim coach Stephen Keshi.

Keshi said the date was picked with all logistics taken into consideration by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the technical crew.

The former Mali and Togo national team coach, said full training programmes will resume on Monday, October 6 ahead of the October 11 and 15 two-legged matches to be played at the Al-Merrikh Stadium, Omdurman and the Abuja National Stadium, Abuja repectively.

“The camp will re-open by Sunday in Abuja. The training activities will resume on Monday. All the players are expected to arrive in earnest and training will begin without delay,” Keshi told Radio Nigeria.

Bolton White Apartments, Abuja remains the camp site and training for the Super Eagles when they resume on October 5.

Nigeria are third on the Group A standing with a point from two matches, while Sudan have no point after two games in the qualifiers for the 2015 tournament which holds in Morocco.

Congo lead the group with six points while South Africa are second with four points.
