Paris FC goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie wrapped up her debut season in style as she kept her sixth clean sheet for Paris following a 2-0 victory over Montpellier on Saturday.

Nnadozie ended her three-year journey with Rivers Angels, having helped the Port Harcourt based club reclaim the Nigerian Women’s Premier League title in the 2019-2020 season, before signing a 18-month deal with French capital outfit in January 2020.

The Nigeria international made her long-awaited French D1 Arkema debut against Issy on October 10, 2020 and went on to help her side ground out a clean sheet, after a 5-0 triumph.

After her superb form so far this term, Nnadozie was handed her 15th starting role against Issy and she replicated her superb form to ensure her side ended their campaign on high.

With a 1-0 loss at Le Havre, Paris pushed to return to winning ways as Oriane Jean-Francois got the game off flying start, opening the scoring in 32nd minute at Stade Robert Bobin.

16 minutes into the second half, Linda Sallstrom set up Anaig Butel for coach Sandrine Soubeyrand’s side to gauranteed them the three points in the encounter.

Nnadozie lasted the duration of the match on her debut for Paris as her side claimed their tenth win of the season in style, ending the term in third with 34 points from 22 games.

“Clean sheet, what a way to end the season. It ended in praise, Lord I am grateful for a successful season. Adebola Yetty and Desire Oparanozie thanks for coming,” stated Nnadozie.

She is expected to join the Nigerian side for the US Summer Series, where they will compete with Portugal, Jamaica and hosts United States of America from June 7-17, 2021.
