NWPL: Confluence Queens appoint Ibrahim Tijani as New Team Manager

As part of plans and preparations to get a better and successful outing at the next Nigeria Women Premier League, NWPL season, the management of Confluence Queens FC have effected a slight change on its officials.

The fresh shake up has made Mallam Ibrahim Tijani the new club team manager of Confluence Queens.

Mallam Tijani, until his new appointment was the secretary of the state’s brother club, Kogi United.

The new development has now made former team manager of the Lokoja based women league side, David Ayo Owolabi also known as “Owoblow” as the club’s consultant.

Chairman of Confluence Queens Mallam Abdul Adama in a statement released by the club’s spokesperson, Tosin Ojo described the former team manager as a blessing to Kogi football.

He said Owoblow who is about retiring but not tired in civil service believed his wealth of experience is very much needed in the club.

“We have decided to appoint Owolabi as the new club consultant because of his wealth of experience in the Women football, we thank him for his selfless service to make Confluence Queens a force to reckon with.

“He has really contributed so much not just to the development of Kogi football, but to Nigeria as a whole,” said Mallam Adama.
