Golden Eaglets arrive Burkina Faso ahead of WAFU-B U-17 Championship

Nigeria’s U-17 national team have arrived in Burkina Faso ahead of the WAFU B U-17 Championship.

The 25 players initially registered by Nigeria for the regional tournament have all successfully passed the mandatory MRI tests conducted by the organisers.

The screening was carried out as part of the age-verification process required ahead of the championship.

With all 25 players cleared, Nigeria will be able to field its full registered squad in the competition as the team steps up preparations for the tournament.

The successful completion of the MRI tests represents an important step for the Nigerian side, which will be aiming to make a strong impression at the regional championship.

The MRI examination is a key requirement for participating teams in the WAFU B U-17 Championship and is designed to ensure compliance with the competition’s age regulations.
