Ijeoma Rose Okeke bids farewell to Edo Queens
Ijeoma Rose Okeke has announced her departure from Edo Queens FC, expressing gratitude to the club, her teammates, coaches, staff and supporters for the role they played in her journey.
In a farewell message shared on Facebook, Okeke described Edo Queens as more than just a football club, saying her time with the team had become an important part of her personal and footballing growth.
“It’s time for me to say goodbye to Edo Queens FC and I just want to say thank you for everything. This place was never just a club, it’s become a part of my journey, my growth and a chapter of my life that I will always carry with me.”
The player also thanked everyone who contributed to her experience at the club, highlighting the lessons, opportunities, encouragement and challenges she encountered along the way.
She added that Edo Queens would always hold a special place in her heart and that she leaves the club with gratitude and cherished memories.
Okeke wished the team continued success and greater achievements in the future.

Rose previously played for Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, Abia Angels before joining Edo Queens.
