Niger Sports Commission constitutes committee to manage stadium gate-taking for 2026/27 season

 

 The Chairman of the Niger State Sports Commission (NSSC), Hon. Amb. Danjuma Abdul Masu, has approved the constitution of a six-man committee to oversee and manage gate-taking activities at the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium, Minna, throughout the 2026/2027 football season.

 The committee is chaired by Aliyu Abubakar, with Musa Isyaku serving as Revenue Officer and Musa Adamu as Secretary. Other members are Bala Musa and Ahmed Jibrin Ahmed, while Mohammed Mustapha Masu will serve as the committee’s Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.).

 The committee’s mandate is to coordinate, control and manage all gate-taking activities during home matches at the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium, Minna, for the duration of the 2026/2027 football season.

 It is also tasked with ensuring transparency, accountability, proper record-keeping and effective management of all revenue generated through gate-taking activities.

 According to the Commission, the committee is expected to commence work immediately and report directly to the Chairman of the Niger State Sports Commission.

 All stakeholders, officials and other concerned persons have been directed to provide the committee with the necessary cooperation and support to enable it to effectively discharge its responsibilities.

 The constitution of the committee is part of efforts by the Niger State Sports Commission to ensure a transparent, accountable and well-coordinated gate-taking system at the stadium during the new football season.
