Patrick Bassey invites 23 players for Future Eagles' FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival
Head Coach Patrick Bassey has invited 23 players to the camp of Nigeria’s U15 boys, known as the Future Eagles, ahead of the FIFA U15 Youth World Cup and Festival scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from October 22 to 31, 2026.
The invited players are expected to report to the NFF/FIFA Goal Project Hostel inside the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, with appropriate football boots for artificial turf.
The boots will be required for training sessions in Abuja and Baku, as well as matches during the tournament.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has advised State Football Associations, clubs, academies, schools and parents or guardians of the invited players to ensure they personally bring the youngsters to the team’s camp in Abuja.
Bassey, a renowned youth developer currently with Bichi First FC, will be assisted by Husaini Lawan Umar and Augustine Iyamu as the Future Eagles begin preparations for the international competition.
