Super Falcons resume training ahead of Comoros return leg in Olympic Qualifiers

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have resumed training ahead of their second-leg encounter against Comoros in the African qualifying campaign for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

The nine-time African champions returned to training on Saturday, a day after recording a 2-0 victory over Comoros in the first leg of their second-round qualifying tie.

The recovery session took place on Saturday afternoon at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium as the team stepped up preparations for the return fixture.

Meanwhile, the Super Falcons have scheduled a media parley for Sunday to engage journalists and sports content creators ahead of the crucial encounter.

The session is expected to hold from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the poolside of AM2PM Hotel, offering media representatives an opportunity to interact with members of the team.

The aggregate winner of the tie between Nigeria and Comoros will advance to the third round of the African qualifying campaign, where Morocco await.

The Super Falcons will be determined to build on their first-leg advantage and secure passage to the next round as they continue their quest to qualify for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
