XEJet unveils specially branded aircraft to support D'Tigress ahead of World Cup
Nigeria’s women’s national basketball team, D’Tigress, have received a major show of support from Nigerian aviation company XEJet ahead of the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Berlin, Germany.
XEJet unveiled a specially branded aircraft featuring the D’Tigress identity, celebrating the team’s remarkable achievements and their continued representation of Nigeria on the global basketball stage.
The initiative pays tribute to a team that has established itself as a dominant force in African women’s basketball while making significant strides internationally.
D’Tigress are five-time consecutive AfroBasket champions, a feat that highlights their sustained dominance on the continent.
The team also made history by becoming the first African women’s basketball side to reach the quarter-finals of the Olympic Games.
