This is contained in a statement by the club’s Media Officer, Ikenna Okonkwo, on Sunday in Abuja.

Mr. Okonkwo quoted the club’s Team Manager, Tolulope Oguntimehin, as saying that the appointment was based on the club’s intention to finish at the top of the league table.

“The appointment of Osho is to boost the technical crew of the club as part of efforts geared towards ensuring that we clinch a premier league ticket by the end of the season.

“We are not leaving anything to chance in making the club to be able to gain promotion.

“And it is not going to be business as usual in the second round because the club management is taking concrete steps that will further step up the performance of the team,” Mr. Oguntimehin said.

Mr. Oguntimehin said Mr. Osho would resume with the club on Tuesday, May 20, after the necessary documentation is completed and that coach Osho would lead the club’s technical crew until the end of the season.

Coach Osho past experience includes leading Remo Stars of Ogun to a third place in the 2012/2013 NNL season before moving to Kogi United FC early this season.

Osho was, however, suspended indefinitely by the management of Kogi United FC in April.
