Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has accepted fellow singer Teni’s challenge to a celebrity boxing bout, adding another intriguing potential matchup to Nigeria’s rapidly growing celebrity fight scene.

 Teni issued the challenge in a viral video on Friday, October 2, proposing a staggering ₦1.5 billion purse for the proposed showdown.

 While speaking about the lavish lifestyles of Nigerian entertainers, Teni playfully called out Savage and vowed to defeat her before breaking into a rendition of Savage’s hit song _My Darling_.

 Savage responded with a short but emphatic message: “Pick a date.”

 The exchange quickly sparked reactions across social media, although there is currently no confirmed promoter, venue, contract or official date for the potential bout.

 The development comes amid the rising popularity of celebrity boxing in Nigeria, fuelled in part by the _Chaos in the Ring_ series promoted by Balmoral Group Promotions.

 BBNaija winner Phyna recently stopped actress Nkechi Blessing in Lagos, while other entertainers, including Portable, Charles Okocha, Speed Darlington and Carter Efe, have also participated in the series.

 Carter Efe defeated Portable by unanimous decision in _Chaos in the Ring 4_, following Portable’s earlier victories over Okocha and Speed Darlington.

 A potential Tiwa Savage-Teni showdown would bring another high-profile entertainment rivalry to the emerging celebrity boxing circuit.

 For now, however, Savage appears ready to let Teni make the next move—with a simple challenge of her own: “Pick a date.”
