Former Remo Stars Ladies forward Bolaji Olamide continued her impressive start to life in Saudi Arabia with a stunning hat-trick and an assist as Al Shams Women defeated Eastern Flames Women 5-4 in a thrilling Saudi Women’s First Division League encounter.

Olamide delivered a commanding attacking display against one of the division’s strong sides, playing a decisive role in Al Shams’ dramatic victory and earning the Player of the Match award.

Her three-goal haul takes her tally to five goals in just three appearances for Al Shams since her move to Saudi Arabia.

The victory also preserved Al Shams’ perfect start to the 2026/27 campaign, with the club collecting nine points from their opening three matches and establishing themselves among the early promotion contenders.

Al Shams are competing in an eight-team First Division campaign, with each club scheduled to play 14 matches. The top three teams at the end of the season will earn promotion to the Saudi Women’s Premier League.

Olamide’s explosive form could prove crucial to Al Shams’ promotion ambitions. With five goals in her first three outings, the Nigerian forward has quickly emerged as one of the club’s most influential attacking players.

Her hat-trick against Eastern Flames was her first three-goal performance since joining Al Shams and further underlined the immediate impact she has made in her new environment.

With 11 league matches still to play, Al Shams remain perfect in the league, while Olamide has wasted little time establishing herself as one of the players to watch in the Saudi Women’s First Division.
