Ampem Darkoa edge Edo Queens to top Group B as WAFU-B Semifinalists confirmed
Edo Queens suffered a 2-1 defeat to Ghanaian side Ampem Darkoa in their final Group B fixture of the 2026 WAFU-B Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
The Nigerian champions took an early lead through Anastasia Atume, who found the back of the net in the 11th minute.
Ampem Darkoa responded immediately after the break, with Rebecca Assemani equalising in the 46th minute.
The Ghanaian side completed the comeback in the 78th minute when Milot Pokuaa converted a free-kick to secure a 2-1 victory.
Despite the defeat, Edo Queens finished second in Group B with six points, level with Ampem Darkoa, who claimed top spot.
ASEC Mimosas finished third with three points, while AS GNN ended the group stage without a point.

Edo Queens will now face hosts USFA of Burkina Faso in the semi-finals, while Ampem Darkoa will take on Dynamique.
