Bendel Insurance bolster defence with Chukwuemeka Godstime signing
Bendel Insurance have continued their preparations for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season with the signing of left-back Nwokeji Chukwuemeka Godstime from Enyimba FC on a two-year deal.
The Benin-based side confirmed the transfer on their official Facebook page, as the "Benin Arsenals" continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Godstime arrives after featuring 10 times for Enyimba last season. Although he did not register a goal or an assist, the defender impressed with his disciplined performances at the back, earning valuable first-team experience for the nine-time NPFL champions.
His arrival provides Bendel Insurance with added depth on the left side of defence as the club looks to build a more solid backline capable of competing at the highest level next season.
Announcing the signing, the club wrote
