CAF set for 2025/26 CAF Champions League, Confederation Cup quarter final draws
The Confederation of African Football will on Tuesday conduct the quarter-final draws for the 2025/26 CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup, as the continent’s elite club competitions enter their decisive knockout phase.
According to a statement released by Africa’s football governing body, the draw ceremony will take place at the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
The CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final draw is scheduled for 1:00pm Cairo time (12:00 noon Nigeria time), with the CAF Champions League quarter-final draw set to follow one hour later. Both events will be broadcast live on CAF’s official YouTube platform, CAF TV.
Nigeria will have no representatives at this stage of either competition. Rivers United, the country’s only club to reach the group stage of the Champions League, finished bottom of Group A, while Remo Stars, Abia Warriors and Kwara United were all eliminated during the qualifying rounds of their respective tournaments.
Tuesday’s draws will not only determine the quarter-final pairings but also outline the route to the final in both competitions, as Africa’s top clubs battle for continental supremacy in the 2025/26 season.
