Daga commits future to Molde with contract extension

Norwegian top flight club Molde FK have secured the long term future of highly rated Nigerian midfielder Daniel Daga after agreeing a new contract with the teenager that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2031.

The 19 year old joined Molde ahead of the 2025 season and has since developed steadily into an increasingly important member of the first-team squad.

Daga has made 22 official appearances for the Norwegian side, scoring five goals and providing one assist during his time at the club.

The Nigerian midfielder has been particularly impressive in recent weeks, delivering a series of eye catching performances that have highlighted his technical ability, composure and growing influence in the middle of the park.

Molde believe Daga still has considerable room for development and have moved quickly to tie him down on a long-term deal as part of their plans for his continued progression.

The new agreement is a strong vote of confidence in the Nigerian youngster, whose performances have continued to attract attention since his arrival in Norway.
