Eric Chelle names 35-man provisional squad for CHAN 2024
Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has released a 35-man provisional list for Nigeria’s home-based national team ahead of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will be hosted across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda next month.
Nigeria, who finished as runners-up in the 2018 edition, will begin their campaign with group matches against Senegal and Sudan at the Amman Stadium in Zanzibar. Their final group game will be against Congo at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
All invited players have been asked to report to camp on Monday, July 7, at the Remo Stars Sports Institute in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State. Players are expected to arrive with their international passports and valid club licenses.
