The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed an Ethiopian refereeing team to officiate Tuesday’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash between Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau.

 The Group L encounter is scheduled to kick off at 4pm local time in Guinea-Bissau (5pm Nigerian time).

 Tewodros Mitiku has been appointed as the centre referee, with fellow Ethiopians Fasika Biru Fasika and Tigle Belachew serving as the first and second assistant referees respectively.

Manuhe Woldetsadik will serve as the fourth official.

 Senegalese official Yaya Balde has been appointed match commissioner, while former FIFA referee Papa Bakary Gassama of The Gambia will serve as the referee assessor.

 The appointment completes the officiating team for what promises to be a key Group L encounter, with both Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau looking to build on victories in their opening qualifying matches.
