FCT FA Women's Tournament: Bwari, Kwali, Kuje, AMAC battle for final spots
The 2026 FCT Football Association (FCT FA) Women’s Inter-Area Council Tournament reaches its crucial stage on Wednesday, September 2, with four Area Councils set to fight for places in the grand final.
Bwari Area Council will face Kwali Area Council in the first semi-final at the Area 3 Football Field, with kick-off scheduled for 9am.
The second semi-final will follow at 10am, as Kuje Area Council takes on AMAC Area Council in what promises to be another fiercely contested encounter.
The winners of both matches will advance to Saturday’s final, while the defeated teams will have another opportunity to finish on the podium in the third-place playoff.
The tournament will conclude on Saturday, September 5, at the Area 3 Football Field. The third-place match is scheduled for 1pm, followed by the championship final at 3pm, when the 2026 FCT FA Women’s Inter-Area Council champions will be crowned.
The competition underlines the FCT FA’s commitment to developing women’s football at the grassroots level while creating a platform for talented players from the six Area Councils to showcase their abilities.
With the title now within reach, all eyes will be on Bwari, Kwali, Kuje and AMAC as they battle for glory and a place in the history of the 2026 tournament.
