Guinea-Bissau produced a stunning 3-0 victory over Nigeria in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier, moving to the top of Group L with maximum points from their opening two matches.

 Franculino Djú opened the scoring in the 15th minute, giving Guinea-Bissau a 1-0 lead.

 Nigeria struggled to find a response, and Mama Baldé doubled Guinea-Bissau’s advantage in the 66th minute. Baldé brilliantly dribbled past Bright Osayi-Samuel before curling his effort into the far corner.

 Guinea-Bissau completed the emphatic victory deep into stoppage time when Álvaro Djaló scored in the 90+5th minute to make it 3-0.

 The result leaves Guinea-Bissau top of Group L with six points from two matches, three points ahead of Nigeria.

Tanzania and Madagascar both have one points each.
