Kada Queens clinch bron

Nigerian side Kada Queens has emerged as a bronze medalists at the just concluded African Cup for Club Championship (ACCC) in Egypt.

Kada Queens defeated Mombasa Hockey Club from Kenya 1-0 to win the bronze medal.

Esther rounded Mombasa goalkeeper to score the winning goal three minutes before the end of the match.

The Ndala Abdulahi tutored side suffered a 4-1 loss to Ghana Revenue Authority in their first game.

They recovered with victories in their other group games to finish second in Pool A.

Five clubs represented Nigeria when the competition started on January 30, 2025.

They are Kada Stars, Niger Flickers, Kada Queens, Plateau Queens, and Delta Queens.
