Newly appointed Technical Manager of Bendel Insurance FC, Kennedy Boboye, has arrived in Benin City ahead of his official unveiling and the start of his new role with the club.

Upon his arrival, Boboye was warmly received by the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, alongside top commission officials and the club’s general manager, Charles Ihimekpen.

The experienced coach was immediately taken on a guided tour of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, led by Hon. Enabulele and senior club executives. The tour covered key facilities, including the main bowl, training pitches, dressing rooms, media center, gym, and recovery center.

Speaking after the tour, Hon. Enabulele expressed optimism about the new manager’s appointment, noting that Boboye’s wealth of experience would help elevate the club’s performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

“We welcome Coach Kennedy Boboye to Benin. The Edo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, is committed to fully supporting the team,” Enabulele stated.

Coach Boboye praised the stadium’s world-class facilities, describing it as a “top-notch and familiar ground.” He commended the Edo State Government for its investment in sports infrastructure and assured fans of his commitment to delivering results that would make the people of Edo proud.

Earlier today, Bendel Insurance FC officially announced Boboye’s appointment as Technical Manager following a mutual agreement with the coach to assume full technical responsibility for the club with immediate effect.
