Musa Nimrod visits CAVB Headquarters in Rabat ahead of 2025 African Women's Club Championship

President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, paid a working visit to the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) headquarters in Rabat, Morocco, on Monday.

During the visit, Nimrod, who also serves as the President of the CAVB Beach Volleyball Commission, met with CAVB President Mrs. Bouchra Hajij and the technical department to discuss final preparations for the 2025 African Women's Club Championship, scheduled for April 1–14, 2025, and hosted by Nigeria Customs Services Club.

“Part of the working visit was to inform the CAVB President, Mrs. Bouchra Hajij, on the level of preparations for the 2025 African Women's Club Championship to be hosted by Nigeria Customs Service,” Nimrod stated.

He emphasized the commitment of the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi MFR, to ensuring smooth preparations. “The CGC has been on top of the situation, and the club is currently in camp ahead of the championship,” he added.

“With the support of the CGC, the National Sports Commission, and the Federal Government of Nigeria, the country will be a good host to clubs participating in the championship,” Nimrod assured.

The CAVB technical department reviewed the championship's readiness and explored areas of collaboration to ensure a successful tournament.
