Nigeria’s rising tennis star, Seun Ogunsakin, has added another international title to his growing collection after winning the J200 Cairo Boys’ Singles event in Egypt.

Ogunsakin secured the championship with an impressive straight-sets victory over French opponent Matisse Martin, winning 7-5, 6-3 in the final.

The Nigerian displayed composure and determination to overcome Martin in a competitive opening set before taking control in the second to seal the victory and claim the title.

The triumph marks Ogunsakin’s second J200 title in 2026, having previously won another tournament in Cairo a few months ago.

His latest success further underlines his growing presence on the international junior tennis circuit and provides another boost to Nigeria’s representation at the global level.

Winning two J200 titles in the same year also highlights the consistency Ogunsakin has demonstrated in the category, as he continues to gain valuable experience against some of the promising young players from different countries.
