Tobi Amusan Shines in Ostrava with Commanding 100m Hurdles Win

Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan continued her fine form on the track as she stormed to victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Ostrava Golden Spike in Czechia on Tuesday evening, clocking an impressive time of 12.45s .

The 28-year-old was in a league of her own, powering well ahead of her closest challengers—Viktória Forster of Slovakia, who placed second in 12.74s, and Ireland’s Sarah Lavin, third in 12.76s. Both athletes ran Season’s Bests but were no match for Amusan’s blistering pace.

This latest win comes just days after Amusan’s eye-catching performance at the Diamond League meet in Paris, where she ran a season’s best of 12.24s to finish second in a highly competitive field.

Her back-to-back top performances underscore her growing momentum this season, with the Nigerian star once again showing why she remains one of the world’s premier sprint hurdlers.
