Team Kaduna demonstrated an outstanding performance at the ongoing National Sports Festival (NSF), securing the top two medals in both the male and female categories of beach volleyball.

In the male division, Kaduna triumphed over Rivers to claim the gold medal, while the Kaduna girls defeated the hosts, Ogun, to also secure gold medals in both categories.

After this remarkable achievement, the Secretary of the Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), Adamu Mohammed, commended both teams for their efforts in bringing pride to the state.

He also acknowledged the Chairman of KADSVA, Engineer Musa Nimrod, for his role in inspiring the team towards victory.

"We are not surprised by the outcome of this result. Our chairman, Engineer Musa Nimrod, who is also the president of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), ensured the teams were well-camped and motivated.

"We are delighted and extend our congratulations to His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, our Sports Commissioner, Professor Ben Gugong, the ministry staff, all athletes, and the citizens of our beloved state for this achievement," he stated.
