Bwari and Kuje have booked their places in the final of the 2026 FCT FA Inter Area Women’s Council Tournament after surviving dramatic semi-final encounters decided by penalty shootouts on Thursday.

The two semi-finals produced identical 1-1 scorelines after regulation time at the Area 3 Football Field, with both Bwari and Kuje eventually prevailing from the penalty spot to secure their places in Saturday’s final.

Bwari were the first side to seal qualification, overcoming Kwali 3-2 on penalties after the two sides could not be separated at 1-1 at the end of regulation time.

The Bwari side held their nerve when it mattered most, converting the decisive spot kicks to eliminate Kwali and move into the championship match.

In the second semi-final, Kuje also needed penalties to overcome defending champions AMAC after another tightly contested encounter ended 1-1.

Kuje prevailed 3-2 in the shootout to complete the final line-up and set up an all-area showdown with Bwari.
