6 Kogi Table Tennis players invited to national team camp ahead of ITTF African Youth Championship
Six table tennis players from Kogi State have been invited to the national camp of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) ahead of the upcoming ITTF African Youth Championship.
The players are:
1. Ize Sezuo
2. Agnes Friday
3. Samson Joshua
4. Joseph Marvelous
5. Joseph Dominion
6. Joseph Victor
Their invitation was confirmed in an official letter issued by the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, which outlined preparations for Nigeria’s participation in the continental tournament.
The ITTF African Youth Championship is scheduled to take place from 20th to 30th July 2026 in Accra, Ghana. The championship is one of the key youth table tennis competitions on the continent, bringing together emerging talents from various African nations.
A total of 32 players—comprising 16 boys and 16 girls—have been invited to the national team camp as part of Nigeria’s preparation for the championship. The camp is expected to help coaches assess form, build team chemistry, and select the final squad for the tournament, which is organized under the ITTF African Youth Championship.
