APC youths back Femi Oyetola with 20 million Naira nominations form ahead of 2027 race
Fresh political momentum is building in Osun State as supporters of Femi Oyetola, son of former governor Gboyega Oyetola, have obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial nomination and expression-of-interest forms on his behalf ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The forms were reportedly purchased by a coalition of friends and political associates who pooled roughly ₦20 million to support his anticipated bid for the Osun Central Senatorial seat.
They were formally presented in Osogbo, marking what insiders describe as the official launch of his political ambition.
Femi Oyetola is believed to be gearing up for the Osun Central contest with notable backing from APC youth leaders and grassroots stakeholders across various local governments and wards in the district.
However, his emergence is already generating reactions within the Osun APC, particularly among other aspirants also eyeing the senatorial ticket.
Despite this, party youth leaders have applauded the development, saying it reflects a growing commitment to youth inclusion and leadership development within the party.
The move introduces a fresh dynamic into the political landscape of Osun State, as early alignments and strategies begin to take shape ahead of the 2027 elections.
