Flamingos set to depart Morocco for World Cup on Wednesday
Nigeria’s Flamingos are scheduled to depart the country on Wednesday for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup finals in Morocco.
In preparation for the global tournament, interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen has released two players back to the U-17 women’s team.
They are Oluwakemi Adegbuyi, the Most Valuable Player of the recently concluded WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup competition in Yamoussoukro, and Favour Nkwocha, who represented Nigeria’s Falconets at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
Both players are expected to strengthen the Flamingos as they begin their campaign at the prestigious youth tournament in Morocco.
